Versatile evaporation source for Organic Molecular Beam Epitaxy (OMBE). A very compact design allows the operation of four cells in spite of the source small dimensions (mounting on DN38CF flange). An efficient radiation shield avoids heat radiation and crosstalk between the cells. Independent thermocouple sensors ensure fast and precise temperature control for each cell.





  • 4 independent crucibles oriented on the same focus.

  • Independent radiative heating by means of integrated tungsten filament.

  • Uniform temperature distribution through compact design.

  • Smart shutter design allows to operate two crucibles at the same time.

  • Mounting on DN38CF flange. Larger flange sizes on request.

  • Integrated DN16CF pumping port for retractable sources.

  • Custom source length.

  • Optional CF minigate for quick evaporant exchange.

  • Independent accurate temperature measurement by means of type K thermocouple.

  • Minimal heat radiation through water or LN2 radiation shield.

  • Minimal crosstalk through efficient temperature isolation.
